 Facebook Stories rolls out public sharing
Facebook users that allow public followers now have the capability to post their Stories publicly for anyone to watch. This feature is currently only available for personal profiles, not yet Pages.

Facebook releases Live Audio
Facebook recently released the capability to “go live” using Live Audio amongst other features like Live Video. When on the “Live” tab, tap on the video camera icon to live stream video or tap the microphone icon to stream audio.

 Snapchat rolls out beta for Advanced Ad Manager
Snapchat enhanced its Ad Manager to offer advertisers more tools for creating, managing, and optimizing Snap Ad campaigns at scale. Whitelisted users can now leverage spreadsheets to create and edit ad in bulk.

 Pinterest launches Promoted Video publicly
On August 1st Pinterest officially rolled out its Promoted Video to all advertisers. The ad product autoplays in the Pinterest feed and is available to advertisers via the Pinterest auction. Brands can also deliver more related pins if the consumer clicks into the video unit.

 Instagram Stories celebrates its one year anniversary
Instagram Stories, which now has 250 million daily users, revealed a few new stats in honor of its 1-year birthday. Over 50% of businesses produced an Instagram Story in July, and 1 in 5 organic stories received a direct message response.
